Writing Withdrawl

When I first met you
I never thought I'd miss
you this much.

I'm still writing
but it's harder when
you're not there
to listen. and I miss your
writing that kept me
thinking.....wow.

You're like that light
on the back porch
i left on....accidentally
but it's the light that reminds me.

Get kids writing. Mike

Writing withdrawal, I can relate. I tried to quit cold turkey for a few days to catch up on some things. My air conditioning unit went out and as I sat there sweating, my mind started to notice all the little things going on around me. I miss all of the inspiration from you guys. Keep in touch.

Men who write. Love it, love it. I, too, have been too busy to write - but have been doing it anyway - in my mind - all the time. Here's a quote from Anne Lamott (Bird by Bird) "...this business of becoming conscious, of being a writer, is ultimately about asking yourself, How alive am I willing to be?" It reminds me of our group this summer - not afraid of the truth.
